Like Andrew, I find myself wondering about our heroes especially with all the tragedies happening in our country today. I wonder how they would react after seeing statues of themselves and reading books saluting their greatness. I wonder what they would say about the Philippines that came to be after the battles they fought. Do you think they would be proud?

This book is a great way to commemorate Andres Bonifacio's 150th. We remember his valor and role as the "Father of Revolution" and through it be reminded of what he and the rest of the Katipunan and other heroes fought for. It is especially great that Andres' story was shared though the eyes of a kid from the new generation.
