Awards season is here and just last night, Golden Globes award wrapped up its show. The nominees were a stellar bunch and the winners, deserving! Of course, as much as the spotlight were on the awards and award-recipients (and the witty comedic duo hosts), we can't help but spend time watching beautifully designed, stitched and embroidered gowns get strutted down the red carpet by the equally beautifully dolled-up Hollywood stars!

These two showed elegance and maturity beyond their years via their fashion choices. Emma Watson's red half dress over dressy pants by Dior was refreshing but elegant- a game changer. While Emma Robert's black serpentine gown by Lanvin matched with aqua chandelier gem earrings showcased youthful sophistication.

As if their wit and intellect weren't enough, 71st Golden Globes hosts were winners in the red carpet as well. Tina Fey's choice drew a mix of reaction, but the over-all look captured her youth especially with her wearing this Carolina Herrera deep floral gown. Amy Poehler, Best actress winner in a TV series (musical/comdey), showcased her woman curves and elegance in sleek Stella McCartney gown with interesting shoulder cut.

Red will always be the color of confidence and whoever dares wear it in full and succeeds in doing so should be given a round of applause. Few celebrities donned the color but only these three wore it perfectly. Taylor Swift has always exuded youthful glamour in the red carpet and the GG was no exception as she graced the awards night in a red unstructured Carolina Herrera gown with black accent sweetheart chest. Best supporting actress nominee and 12 years a slave star Lupita Nyong'o was much talked about not only because of her great portrayal of her character in the movie but because of her fashion forward sophistication in her fiery red cape Ralph Lauren gown. Best Actress In A Motion Picture (musical/comedy) Amy Adams's plunging neck Valentino gown perfectly suited her body and look, proving she is more than a great actress.

Men's wear are limited and we can see the same clothing in different stars however, one or two will always shine through because of the sleek, neat and dashing way of wearing and carrying themselves. Bradley Cooper and Will Forte were debonair gentlemen in suit.

Black will always be the all-time classiest choice but it doesn't mean that these women wore it plainly, proving class and style could go hand in hand. Best Actress in a Motion Picture (drama) Cate Blanchett owned the night with a win in scene-stealer full laced Armani Prive number. Monica Pottergo wore a glamorous Gold and Black Romona Keveza gown. The Good Wife and Best Actress in a TV Series (drama) Nominee Julian Margulies wore a beautiful Andrew Gn semi-ball structured gown with gold coral details, exuding old-sophistication with a modern twist. Sultry comedic actress Sophia Vergara's- nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Mini-Series or TV Movie - Zach Posen ensemble worn with the tiered turquoise neck piece was a win in itself.

There is something dreamy about romantic looks that easily captures the heart. Romantic is chic and few sweethearts from the industry donned the look perfectly from head to toe. Proclaimed Indie princess and Best Actress nominee in a TV Series (musical/comedy) Zoe Deschanel was old-school sweet in her Oscar de la Renta  lace sheer cover and tulle semi high-low gown in nude tones. Caitlin FitzGerald perfected the blue shade in her fishtail (mullet) semi-turtleneck Emilia Wickstead and color-block heel ensemble. Another wearer of the asymmetric trend was Michelle Docker in a silver sparkled semi-ball structured Oscar de la Renta gown. Kaley Cuoco of Big Bang Theory was girly chic in her Rani Zakhem corset tube vintage floral ball gown.

The Belle Of A Boulevard's top picks: Emma Watson's fashion forward glamour, Julien Margulies's Sophia Loren-inspired look and Michelle Docker's silver romantic chicness.

Who were your favorites? Would love to hear! :)
